Gene`s Famous Seafoods in Fairhaven

The food has been awesome here since I've been a kid.

Fish and chips were outstanding

I Love This Restaurant I have been eating at Gene's for years & my family loves this place too the Food is excellent & the Staff are Great too My Favorite Menu items I would recommend are the Fish & Chips, the Clam Chowder , the Tuna Roll, Fried Scallop Roll, Fish Sandwich, Fried Clam Strip Roll, the fried Clam Strips Plate & the Gene's Famous Seafood Platter with Clam Strips if you are looking for a Great Seafood Restaurant I would highly recommend giving Gene;s Seafood a try

The food was great but the girl at the register who failed to acknowledge me or the people in line for nearly 10 awkward minutes left a bad taste in my mouth. Takes two seconds to say be right with you.

Best seafood in Southern New England. It is well worth the drive from Rhode Island to Fairhaven Mass. I challenge you to try it. You won’t regret it. 🦐🐟

Very good Calamari, Clam cakes could have contained less breading and more clam.

I guess I've been going there sence I was a small child...it's still BOMB! super generous portions. Very fresh. Great wait staff. DONT SLEEP ON THIS PLACE!!!

Great scollops cooked perfect, always fresh and delicious.. my only gripe was the clam cakes I got had very few clams in them, not like when I was younger they always had more than enough, I wonder if I can ask for extra clams next time 😁

New owner whom I love, same yummy food. Definitely my favorite fish and chips EVER. If they were open now at 10am I would be eating it for breakfast!

Best seafood in the area

So I drove by the place the first time because it really doesn't stand out from the road. I am so glad that I was able to find it because when I did, it was a gem. The staff was very friendly and patient with me ( I was from out of town and didn't understand what some of the local stuff was) I got a clam roll on the first trip and I couldn't even come close to eating the whole things. The clams were large and so fresh and the prices were great. It was so great I went back a second time 2 days later! (Was only in town for a week). I picked up a lobster roll to go, and the serving size was so generous...what a great little place for locals and visitors alike! Prices a reasonable and food is outstanding.

Their scallops are the best of any other places I've eaten at. They don't skimp on quality or quantity.

I haven't been to Gene's in years... I've been super excited to eat here again but I'm not sure when I'll be returning. The man at the counter (I believe he was the manager) was very nice and it's a great atmosphere... Although I was pretty dissatisfied with my clam plate. A lot of the clams were really sandy and I know it can't always be helped but for $21 I hoped to have more than one clam that wasn't gritty :( Clam chowder was very good but as of right now I don't know when I'll really crave Gene's again. Very disappointed

awesome fried clams. best i ever had. fried fish was spot on. huge lobster roll. very friendly staff. make this a MUST STOP spot when in SoMass.
